Nepal in eWorld
The definition of e Servive means the use of electronic services used for one prominent application and that is the utilization of Information and communication terminologies(ICTs) in different areas. But its exact definition is yet to come because the researchers differ in their opinion for its definition. But despite of their diffeerences it can be urged that e Service is all about the role of technology in faciliating the delivery of services which is more of electronics nature.
eWorld was an online service provided by Apple Inc. between june 1994 and 1996. It included email service and bulletin board system (community system) and the users were often reffered to as "epeople". It was an innovative service at that time too but could not render much attraction to the users because of high cost and lack of versatile service providers.
But because of rocketing development in the field of internet and digital electronics over the current decade, the concept launched by Apple at 90's has been so feasiable that today world is overflown with the eServices. Today almost every institution Government or non-Governmental are providing eServices to its clients. With almost 400 millions users every month, it is also serving as a global platform for information exchange.
Even though the developed world entered this service a long ago and have been exploiting this platform for the world coverage of limited local sources and market, Nepal has been quite a late in this field. But the latest years has been a quite a satisfactory success in eWorld in Nepal. With outsourcing gaint Cloud Factory creating over 5000 jobs and eCommerce and others service provider engulfing this service, there is a hope for creating a Silicon Valley in this region. This has given the Government to reach the upto far side at every corner of the country and business enterpenuers to expand confined Nepali market.
